Navigating Job Rejections: My Journey as an Account Executive in Tech Sales

After 10 years in B2B sales, I recently faced two final-round rejections that have left me feeling disheartened. Just last week, I was turned down by a Big Tech company after making it to the final interview stage. Prior to that, I had three processes that stopped after the initial screening and received around 20 rejections before even getting screened. Overall, I've submitted close to 100 applications while aiming for Account Executive or Account Management roles. I have over 6 years of experience in tech sales, and if I include my background in tender management, it totals to 10 years. I'm currently in the process of relocating within Europe, which adds another layer of complexity to my job search. Despite my strong experience, I'm struggling to understand why I keep facing these setbacks. The rejections feel particularly tough since the feedback is vague, often just stating that I'm 'not a match.' While I do have one ongoing process, my hope is dwindling. Is this kind of experience common in the job market? I could really use some perspective, as the usual encouragement to 'keep going' isn't quite enough to lift my spirits right now.
