Exploring Legal Options After Job Termination: Hearing Insights and Next Steps

I recently learned about a situation involving someone I know who was terminated from their job after over 20 years, citing reasons like "misconduct" and "loss of trust." They had a hearing to discuss the case, but it had to be rescheduled because there wasn't enough time to review the evidence and allow everyone to speak. The arbiter seemed quite frustrated with the former employer during the process. Unfortunately, my acquaintance didn't have a lawyer present at the hearing. I'm curious about the tribunal process: can they bring a lawyer to the rescheduled hearing, or is that option no longer available? Also, if the appeal is successful, would it be possible for them to sue the former employer for wrongful termination?
