I've been actively searching for a job since early June, and honestly, the market feels terrible right now. I've gone through several interviews, but many of them have been with sketchy consulting firms. They advertise positions that sound appealing, like 'entry-level marketing' or 'entry-level manager,' but when you dig deeper, it turns out they're just looking for people to sell AT&T products in stores like Walmart or Best Buy. It's frustrating because they schedule interviews without providing any real details about the job. One interviewer even mentioned that AT&T is throwing money at these companies to hire people. At this point, I'm considering starting my own consulting firm since it seems like there's a lot of money to be made in this shady business. If you can't beat them, join them, right?
