Searching for a new job after unfair termination from a restaurant position

I just got fired from my job at a local restaurant, and it's my first time experiencing this. A few days ago, I was training a new server and mentioned that the restaurant had several areas needing improvement. I also advised her that working morning shifts wouldn’t be very lucrative, but that nights were much better. Unfortunately, she shared my comments with another server, who happens to be the owner's cousin. This led to a three-way call with the owner and the payroll manager, who is also related to the server who reported me. They informed me that I was terminated effective immediately. During the call, I found it absurd that I was being let go for voicing concerns that the owner actually agreed with. I asked why I wasn’t given a chance to explain myself before being fired, but the owner had no answer. She claimed that there would be too much tension between me and the new server, despite my year of service compared to her two days. To make matters worse, they are refusing to pay me my tips from bartending, which they secretly split with the cousin who snitched on me. I was told I could keep all my bar tips, but now it feels like they took advantage of me. Honestly, working there was a nightmare. The owners were disorganized and unprofessional, and while I feel relieved to be out of that situation, I’m also stressed because rent is due soon. I’m currently on the hunt for any job I can find. Wish me luck! I realize now that I should have been more cautious about what I shared with coworkers, as they aren't really friends. But I still believe it’s unfair for them to withhold my earnings. Lesson learned, and I hope to find something better soon.
