Today, I received a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at my current job, which really caught me off guard. The plan involves weekly check-ins over the next 60 days to assess my progress. In the meantime, I've already started applying for new positions, hoping to secure something before the PIP period ends. While I plan to complete my work and maintain a cordial relationship with my team, I'm primarily focused on finding a new opportunity. On a positive note, I've reached the maximum cap for my unpaid PTO days, so I'm looking forward to receiving a substantial payout for that.
