I've been on the job hunt for a while now, feeling frustrated with the constant rejections. Currently, I'm working as a DoorDash and Uber driver, but I have a solid background in sales, telecommunications, and marketing. Recently, I applied for a warehouse position that seemed like a good fit due to its proximity and decent pay, but I was rejected without even getting a call. Just today, I received another rejection for a driving job at FedEx, even though the ad specifically mentioned they welcomed applicants with delivery experience. I have plenty of relevant experience, so I'm left wondering what these companies are really looking for. It seems like the only roles I'm being contacted about are outside sales positions or entry-level jobs that rely heavily on commission. It's perplexing to see that I have double the experience required for most positions, yet I'm still not getting any traction.
