I had an interview just two days ago for a position that I was really excited about. The manager seemed positive, saying, "I like you, I think I'm gonna go with you, but I've got other interviews to do. You should be getting a call from me on Friday." Well, today is Friday, and I haven't received any call. This isn't the first time this has happened to me; I've had similar experiences where I was promised a call right after an interview, only to wait a week before hearing anything. I can't help but wonder if it's normal for managers to say they'll call and then not follow through or delay their response. It feels frustrating, especially when they could just communicate better if they decide to go with someone else.
