Considering a Salary Review After Declining Higher Job Offers

I have been working as a specialized IT professional with a government contractor for almost a year, earning $155k. Recently, I received two job offers that were higher than my current salary: one for $175k from another contractor within the same agency and another for $165k from a different company. After careful consideration, I chose to decline both offers because my current role provides excellent flexibility and work-life balance, which is crucial for me as a co-parent. However, these offers made me think about my compensation and whether I should ask my employer for a salary review. I also recently received a higher-level security clearance that adds to my qualifications, even though my current employer did not sponsor it. I’m contemplating sending an email to my manager to discuss my salary, but I’m unsure if mentioning the declined offers is a good idea. I want to be honest but also avoid coming off as if I’m threatening to leave. I’m seeking advice on whether it’s reasonable to request a compensation review at this stage and how to phrase my email appropriately.
