Today, I had my first interview in nearly four months for a Preconstruction Administrative Assistant position at a construction company. I was expecting a standard thirty-minute interview with someone from HR or management, but it turned out to be a ninety-minute session with three different people. I first spoke with the SVP of Accounting/Finance, followed by the head of the Preconstruction department, and finally one of the partners. I'm curious if this kind of extensive interview process is typical.
