I had a tough experience during my second-round internship interview today. I was expecting a technical focus, but I didn't prepare adequately for the Excel functions they threw at me. The first part of the interview went smoothly, but when I hit the second part, I completely froze. It was embarrassing to stumble so badly that the interviewer had to step in to help me. I felt like I blew my chances right there. The second half of the interview was better, as it shifted to technical and behavioral questions where I could speak more comfortably. However, I'm really worried about how the first part went and I can't shake the feeling that I won't get the position. I was really hoping for this opportunity.
