I had an interview last Thursday for a position in an industry where I have significant experience. During the interview, the hiring manager asked if I had any upcoming vacations, and I mentioned a commitment that would take me away for a couple of days. They told me that if I hadn’t heard back by Monday, I could call for an update. So, I called twice yesterday, but both times I was told someone would get back to me with an update, and nobody did. Now I’m wondering if I should keep calling for an update or if that would come off as too clingy. I really want this job, but I don’t want to seem desperate.
