I was recently offered a freelance role at a startup company through a connection from a former manager. I had a great interview about two weeks ago where we discussed my availability and rate, and they expressed interest in moving forward with onboarding. However, since that last communication on October 15, I haven't heard anything regarding the onboarding details. I reached out the following Wednesday to inquire about the timing, but it's been almost two weeks without a response. My former manager just started at the company this week, and I'm considering reaching out to her for any updates, but I’m hesitant to seem pushy since she’s still settling in. I'm really excited about this opportunity, but the lack of communication is making me anxious. I’m wondering if I should contact my former manager now, wait a couple of days, or follow up again with the person I interviewed with. Has anyone else dealt with similar situations in freelance roles?
