I just lost my Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) hearing regarding my recent job termination in Indiana. I feel absolutely terrible about the outcome. Throughout the process, I was constantly overwhelmed, which led to me missing several meetings and deadlines. My employer claimed that I had persistent errors in my communication, but they never provided any concrete examples to support their claims. Unfortunately, the ALJ sided with them, stating that my behavior demonstrated willful disregard for my responsibilities. I'm planning to appeal the decision, although I know it's a long shot. I'm going to focus on the fact that they failed to present any specific instances of communication errors during the hearing.
