Reflecting on Interview Patterns: Do Note-Taking Habits Signal Rejection?

I've been on the job hunt for a while now, and I've attended numerous interviews over the past 23 years. Recently, I noticed a pattern that has me questioning things. During my last few interviews, the interviewers didn't take any notes at all. No writing, no jotting down points, nothing. It made me wonder if this is a bad sign. Am I being passed up for the position? I shared this observation with some friends and got mixed responses. Some said they often don't take notes unless they're interviewing a large number of candidates, while others reassured me that it doesn't necessarily mean anything negative. I'm trying to stay positive but it's tough not to overthink these situations.
