Feeling hopeless after unexpected layoff and struggling to find my next steps

I lost my job on Friday, and honestly, I feel completely hopeless right now. I had a gut feeling that layoffs were coming, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. The company I worked for conducted a mass layoff over a Zoom call, and it was shocking to see how they only kept those who were part of their cliques. I’ve been laid off before, but this experience felt so much more personal and painful. When I saw the panic in the eyes of my colleagues who were kept, I knew it was happening to me too. I thought to myself, 'Great, now I have to start all over again.' I'm 26 years old, and I've been struggling to figure out what to do with my life. I was in the mortgage industry and had just been promoted two months ago, so this felt like a huge slap in the face. To make matters worse, I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and now I'm worried about how I'm going to afford my medication without coverage. The stress and panic are overwhelming, and I just feel lost about the future. I've tried so many different career paths, and I feel like I'm running out of options. I’m trying to figure out my next steps, but everything seems daunting right now.
