I've been thinking about how to leverage my Facebook network in my job search. I have a decent number of friends on there, but I often wonder how effective it really is. I try to let them know I'm open to work, sometimes casually and other times with a sense of urgency, depending on my situation. However, I've noticed that responses can be hit or miss. Sometimes I get replies, but often it feels like I'm just shouting into the void. It's frustrating because I know many of my friends would want to help if they could, but if they don’t have any leads at the moment, they tend to forget about my search pretty quickly. I’ve hesitated to keep posting updates too frequently because I don’t want to come off as desperate or annoying. I realize that the challenge is maintaining visibility without overwhelming my network. I really want to make the most of this resource, but I'm not sure how to keep my search on their radar effectively. Anyone else struggling with this?
