I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and am currently living at home with my parents. I have over a year of experience working at a local boutique, but I quit because the schedule was too unstable, with shifts being cut at the last minute. I'm looking to continue in clothing retail to gain more experience but have only applied to four other jobs so far, and unfortunately, I haven't received any interview invitations. I understand that I might not be applying to a large number of positions, but I'm struggling to find openings that interest me within a reasonable distance. My resume is polished and tailored for each application, and I rewrite my cover letter for every job. Despite this effort, I keep receiving rejections or no responses at all, while it seems like less experienced candidates are getting hired. I'm feeling frustrated and unsure of what I might be doing wrong in my job search.
