I'm currently on summer holiday after finishing year 11 and I'm looking to apply for a temporary job for about eight weeks, ideally working three days a week. I've noticed that most job listings are for part-time positions, and I'm unsure how to approach this. Should I specifically ask for summer-only roles, or should I just apply to various jobs and mention my availability during the application process? I've heard that many places, especially in retail and hospitality, expect summer help and are open to discussing this during interviews. I want to make sure I'm clear about my availability without missing out on opportunities.
