I’m feeling a bit stuck in my career and could really use some advice. I have a Bachelor's degree in PR and have spent the last five years working at an e-commerce startup that has grown rapidly. I joined the company as a joke, thanks to my friendship with the founder, and started in the call center while I was still a student. Over the years, I've taken on various roles including design, social media advertising, and even assisting in hiring and training new staff. I've handled customer escalations, worked with courier companies, and have experience with WordPress and basic ERP systems like Odoo. Despite this diverse experience, I feel like I’ve hit a plateau and I'm no longer progressing. I want to change jobs and ideally move back to a smaller town with my fiancé, so I’m looking for remote opportunities. However, I’m struggling to identify what kind of specialist I am or what roles I should be applying for. It’s frustrating to feel like I’m at a dead end, and I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation or can offer some perspective.
