I referenced an internship from 2024 instead of 2023, even though my resume correctly states the dates. I had two different internships in those years, so the one I mentioned in the cover letter is not the same as the one on my resume. I'm feeling anxious about whether I should reach out to the recruiter to explain the error or if I should just let it go and move on from this application.
