Regis Corporation Closing Chattanooga, Tennessee Distribution Center And Laying Off 31
Regis Corp. has submitted a WARN notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development confirming it will be laying off workers in Chattanooga. The letter explains the company will be permanently closing its distribution center in Chattanooga, Tennessee on December 31, 2021. The facility is located at 4310 Distribution Drive.
As a result of the upcoming closure, the company will be laying off 31 workers. Those workers are not represented by a union or collective bargaining agreement so bumping rights do not exist. Regis Corporation is the largest hair salon chain in the world and owns several brands, including First Choice Haircutters, Cost Cutter, Supercuts, and SmartStyle.
