Pentair has submitted a WARN with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company is preparing to close its manufacturing facility in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and its distribution center in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The closures are the result of the company’s decision to consolidate the facility to other Pentair sites. The letter to the Department of Workforce Development was sent on August 30, 2022. The manufacturing facility is located at 20580 Enterprise Avenue in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The distribution center is located at N25W23040 Paul Road in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The company anticipates that it will begin eliminating jobs on November 1, 2022 and complete the closure on April 1, 2023. Workers at these facilities are not represented by a union so they will not have access to bumping rights. Employees will be paid all earned wages and agreed upon benefits at the time of their termination. The layoffs will occur in stages.

Workers being laid off include assembly operators, material handles, quality technicians, and assembly operator leads. In total, the company will be permanently laying off 210 positions. A list of workers being laid off and the WARN can be found here. BCS Automotive Interface Solutions, Briggs & Stratton, and Bay Fabrication also submitted WARNs in Wisconsin this month.
