Crown Building Maintenance Co. filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice “WARN” with the New York State Department of Labor on September 23, 2021. The letter was to notify of a scheduled layoff, impacting 109 workers.

Crown Building Maintenance, Doing Business As Able Building Maintenance, provides commercial maintenance services. The company reported $270.58 million in annual sales across 19 companies and 4,600 workers.

Employee separations are expected to begin on December 23, 2021, according to the WARN.

The impacted workers report to LEGOLAND at 1 Legoland Boulevard, Goshen, NY 10924. As stated in the WARN, the reason for the layoff is “economic”.

The Impacted employees do not have union representation. The layoff is expected to be permanent.
