I received a verbal offer last Thursday for a role that moved through the interview process really quickly. I negotiated the pay, unvested sign-on bonus, and even a better job title. The recruiter seemed eager, especially since I was a finalist for another position, and mentioned that I should expect to hear back either the same day or the next. Fast forward to today, Tuesday, and I haven't heard anything despite reaching out for an update. They even took down the job posting for that role and a more junior position, which makes me think they might be restructuring the role for me. However, the silence is concerning, and I'm starting to worry that they might be reconsidering my offer due to my negotiation.
