I recently resigned from my role as a junior employee in a new department at my company, where I had been for about eight months. I made the internal transfer without adequate training, and it quickly became clear that I was struggling to meet expectations. After several months of trying to juggle this job with my full-time university studies, I decided to resign, primarily to focus on my education. I have two weeks left in my notice period, and it's been incredibly awkward. My colleagues have become quite icy, and I feel like I've lost my standing within the team due to my performance issues. I’m now facing the challenge of navigating these last couple of weeks while feeling uncomfortable and unnecessary in the role. I'm just hoping to get through it for the paycheck.
