I was recently laid off from my job and received a small severance package. It's been three months since I started applying for new positions, but I haven't had any luck landing a job yet. My partner is also not working, so we are currently taking care of our two toddlers. I'm trying to figure out when I should start applying for benefits for our family of four and what types of benefits are available to us here in Scotland, UK.
