I have an MBA and management experience from an HBCU, along with a BA. I've worked on government and corporate contracts, but currently, I'm stuck in retail. I've been applying to jobs everywhere and networking extensively, but it feels like all my efforts have been in vain. I've reached out to both of my HBCUs for support, but their responses have been very generic and unhelpful. I've also contacted various networks, career development organizations, and staffing agencies, trying to get back on track. To make matters worse, I'm currently living in an Airbnb after being laid off for reasons that seemed unjustified. I'm feeling frustrated and questioning whether my education and resources were worth it. I'm looking for advice on what steps I should take next.
