I recently experienced a frustrating situation in my job search. I had an interview scheduled, but just one hour before it was supposed to start, I received a notification that the meeting was canceled. Later in the week, I was informed that the role had been suspended altogether. It was disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for candidates. Additionally, I had another interview where they asked about my start availability. I felt positive about it, but then I was told they liked me but decided to go with a more experienced candidate. They mentioned they would keep me in mind for future roles, but it still stings to hear that. It feels like the reputation of job applicants is declining, and it’s becoming increasingly challenging to find decent opportunities. I know I'm not alone in this, as I've seen others share similar experiences. The job market is tough right now.
