I was laid off on Friday after four years working in management at a pyrotechnics company. Honestly, I didn’t have much to lose since it was a pretty lousy experience overall. Now, I’m planning to take some time to decompress and gather my thoughts. I've noticed that layoffs seem to be increasing in Ohio, and the unemployment rate is rising as well. It feels like there’s a steady trend of people getting laid off this month. Unfortunately, my position was cut due to a lack of available work.
