I am currently facing a challenging situation regarding my job transition. I am 25 years old and have six months of experience working at my current organization, which has a four-year bond. Recently, I submitted my father's medical documents to request a release from the bond, but my employer has responded by stating they will only provide a termination letter indicating that I violated company policy due to a medical emergency. I have an offer from Amazon for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) 1 position, with a start date of July 20. I reached out to my recruiter to explain my situation, but I haven't received clear guidance. The recruiter mentioned that my background verification (BGV) is cleared and that I can submit a relieving letter or service letter once I join Amazon. However, given that I will only have a termination letter, I am concerned about whether Amazon will accept it. I'm feeling anxious about this situation and would appreciate any advice or insights from others who may have faced similar challenges.
