As a rising junior majoring in computer science, I feel like I'm lagging behind in gaining job experience. I've never had an internship before, and my resume mainly consists of club involvement and personal projects. I'm really hoping to secure a fall internship to help me get on track. However, I've noticed that there are significantly fewer listings for fall internships compared to summer 2027 opportunities. I've applied to hundreds of positions but have only received a few responses, and I had one interview that ended with no follow-up. I'm feeling quite overwhelmed and would appreciate any tips on how to land a fall internship.
