I’ve been on the job hunt for a while now, applying to what feels like HUNDREDS of positions that I know I’m qualified for, yet I haven’t received a single interview. It’s incredibly frustrating. I customize my resume for each application, incorporating relevant keywords, and I’ve had others review it who say it looks good. I’m using various job boards like HiringCafe and I always apply directly on company websites, focusing on jobs posted within the last day. I’ve also been proactive on LinkedIn, messaging recruiters and connecting with people who are hiring for the roles I’m interested in. Despite all this effort, I’ve only been contacted by a couple of recruiters, and both times I ended up getting ghosted. I feel like I’m doing everything right according to the advice out there, but I’m just not getting any traction. I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something in my approach. I know my skills are in demand, so it’s disheartening to see no results. If anyone has suggestions or insights on what I might be doing wrong or what else I could try, I’d really appreciate it.
