I recently received a rejection email from a company I had interviewed with for a marketing position. What struck me as particularly odd was a typo in the email. Instead of saying 'We appreciate your interest in the role,' it said 'We appreciate your interest in the roll.' I couldn't help but chuckle at the mistake, but it also made me wonder about the professionalism of their hiring process. It's been a tough job search, and this just added a strange twist to my experience.
