I recently applied for a bank teller position in my small town right after it was posted on Indeed. It’s been a week since I submitted my application, so I decided to call the bank to check on its status. I was friendly during the call, but the hiring manager mentioned she hadn’t seen my application yet and would look into it. She seemed a bit disinterested, which made me feel uncertain about my chances. Interestingly, Indeed indicated that my application was viewed and I received an auto-message stating they would reach out for interviews. Now, I’m unsure about my next steps. Should I wait until next week to call again, dress nicely and visit in person, or just let it go? I’ve been actively searching for a better job and I’m feeling quite frustrated, so any advice would be appreciated.
