I recently applied online for a position at a well-known coffee chain in my country through Indeed, but I'm feeling anxious about my application. I really need this job, so I'm considering going in person to hand in my CV as well. A friend of mine did something similar with a big retailer and ended up getting hired, which gives me hope. However, I'm unsure if this is a good idea or if it might come off as pushy. I’ve heard mixed opinions; some say it’s not advisable due to GDPR regulations regarding personal information, while others encourage me to go in and at least have a conversation. I think I might just take the chance to ask questions and confirm if Indeed is their official recruitment channel, as I've heard that applications might not always reach the right people. It feels like it could be worth the time and effort.
