I recently received a job offer from the owner of a new restaurant that is set to open next month. I've been searching for a serving position for quite some time, and it has been challenging to break into the industry without extensive experience. This made me a bit anxious, as I want to be hopeful but also realistic. I did my due diligence on the restaurant to ensure it’s a legitimate opportunity, but I’m still grappling with whether I should keep my expectations in check or if I can trust that the owner will follow through.
