I recently had a job interview that didn't go as planned. I was really excited because this would have been my first adult job, and the pay was great—enough to help me with my school fees and student loan. I live with my mom, so I don't have rent to worry about, but I still need to manage my expenses carefully. Unfortunately, during the interview, my siblings started arguing and barged into my room, shouting. I had to excuse myself to deal with the chaos, which was incredibly frustrating. The interviewer said she would get back to me later, but now I feel like my chances of landing this job are slim. Job opportunities in my city are scarce, and I'm just feeling really upset and overwhelmed. I wish someone could reassure me that everything will be okay.
