I recently had a strange experience with a marketing job opportunity in Savannah, GA. The recruitment process felt very off-putting and patronizing. It seemed like they were more focused on fostering competition among employees rather than promoting a collaborative environment. During the interview, they mentioned that the job involved going out to various locations to man stands and solicit in public, which was not what I expected from a marketing role. It reminded me of some horror stories I've heard about companies that prioritize aggressive sales tactics over employee well-being. I ended up declining the offer after doing some research and discovering similar experiences shared by others in the r/devilcorp community.
