After going through multiple interviews for a promotion at my current company, I noticed that my application status has changed to Inactive, even though it still says 'ready for hire' on Workday. To make matters worse, the job posting is no longer available. I've been working towards this promotion for years, and I'm worried that I might be out of luck.
