I've been on the job hunt for a while now, but living in a rural area in the Philippines has made it really challenging to find opportunities. I just turned 18 and have some computer skills that I want to leverage to earn money and eventually invest in further education or training to qualify for better jobs. However, most entry-level positions either pay very little, require experience I don't have, or seem to be scams. I've watched numerous YouTube videos about making money online, but many of them feel more like sales pitches for courses rather than genuine advice. I feel stuck in a cycle where I need money to improve my skills, but I need a job to earn that money in the first place. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has been in a similar situation and can share how they got their first job. Are there legitimate online jobs, apprenticeships, or paid training programs that accept beginners? I'm particularly looking for practical steps I can take without spending money I don't have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
