I recently found myself in a tough situation at my current job at a tech company. The office environment is just broken, and after much deliberation, I’m seriously considering leaving without another position lined up. I’ve been doing some research and noticed that most discussions about this topic are quite outdated, with posts from 1 to 5 years ago. I wanted to check in with the community to see if anyone else has made this leap recently and how it turned out for them. I’ve seen some comments advising against leaving without a backup plan, especially given the current job market conditions, which seem to be quite challenging. I’m feeling a bit lost and uncertain about what to do next.
