I recently received a job offer for a position that I'm not particularly excited about. The role offers very few hours and the pay isn't great. They sent me an offer email stating that I have 7 days to respond, which I thought would give me enough time to continue interviewing for better opportunities. However, now the hiring manager has started texting me to check if I've seen the email. I'm feeling a bit stuck on how to respond. I want to keep my options open while being polite and professional. I'm considering saying something like, 'Thank you for the confirmation that I received the offer. I am excited about the opportunity, but I have some concerns regarding the hours and my salary expectations.' Any advice on how to handle this situation?
