I’ve been actively job hunting and submitting my resumes everywhere I can. Recently, I’ve had a few companies actually reach out to me for interviews, which felt promising. They emailed me asking for my availability, and I responded quickly, usually within a couple of hours, expressing my gratitude for the opportunity and letting them know I’m available anytime between 9 am and 5 pm. However, after I reply, I often get ghosted. I wait a few days, then send a follow-up email, but still, I hear nothing back. This has happened to me four times in the last month with different companies, and I can't help but feel confused and frustrated. I’m left wondering if I did something wrong or if there’s a reason for this lack of communication. It feels unprofessional and demoralizing, especially when they initially seemed interested in moving forward with my application. I just wish I could get some closure, even if it’s just to know that they chose another candidate. If anyone has any insights into why this might be happening, I’d really appreciate it.
