Today, I’m feeling really overwhelmed with my job search. As a college student, I’ve been applying to jobs all summer, but I’m still struggling to find anything. I’ve sent out countless applications, but most places have been ghosting me. I’ve had a few interviews, but then I never hear back, and it turns out they weren’t even hiring. I’m just looking for a retail or fast food job—nothing too crazy—but I have years of experience since I’ve been working since I was 15. With school starting up again, I really need a job to help pay for my expenses. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for FAFSA, and I feel like I’m running out of options. It’s frustrating because every time I follow up on my applications, they just tell me to check online and that they can’t provide any help. It honestly feels like I’m sending my applications into a void. I’m starting to feel really desperate and lost about what to do next.
