I recently experienced my first layoff and it's left me feeling quite jaded about the tech industry. The rapid adoption of AI technologies has been alarming to me, and I find myself reluctant to pursue roles that seem to require minimal critical thinking, essentially just working to improve AI systems. As I navigate my job search, I'm grappling with how to approach this mindset.
