After a long year and a half of searching, I finally landed an interview! It's scheduled for tomorrow at 4pm PST. The position is with a company that focuses on raising funds for nonprofits, and the pay is decent. I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, especially since it's been so long since I was last employed. I'm really hoping this opportunity works out for me. I could use all the good vibes and luck you can send my way! 🤞😊

I have been unemployed for over a year now, and it's been a tough journey. I’ve been actively searching for jobs, applying to anything that seems within my skill set, but I often feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. I get ghosted by employers, or I hear that they chose someone else, even though I have a lot of experience and have updated my resume. I’m 41 years old and have been working since my teens, yet I feel invisible in this job market. I've even tried gig jobs and ambassadorships, but those haven’t panned out either. It’s disheartening to hear stories of others who have sent out thousands of applications and still find themselves in the same boat. Sometimes I wonder if companies are even hiring at all. I’m trying to stay hopeful, but the weight of this burden is really getting to me.
