I was recently laid off from my position at a tech company where I was working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). I'm currently on a work visa and I'm trying to understand my options regarding severance pay. I've heard mixed opinions on whether being on a visa affects eligibility for severance packages. If anyone has insights or experiences related to this situation, I would really appreciate your advice.
