I am preparing to return to an office for the first time since 2019, which feels quite daunting. My work history has been quite a journey: I transitioned to remote work in 2020, got laid off in 2021 and spent a year searching for a new role. In 2022, I landed a fully remote job, and that continued through 2023 and 2024. However, I faced another layoff in October 2025. Now, I'm starting a fully in-office role in just two weeks, and I’m feeling a bit lost. I’m curious about what has changed since I last worked in an office. What do people typically wear these days? I’m worried I might have forgotten how to interact with colleagues in person. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
