Milestones, reflections, and progress updates connected as your layoff-to-next-step story unfolds.

I recently hit a frustrating milestone in my job search: after submitting 274 applications over the past three months, I've only landed one interview, which unfortunately didn't go well due to some missteps in answering CRM management questions. Currently, I'm working as a Marketing Specialist for a small SME, essentially managing the entire marketing department on my own. My responsibilities range from copywriting and social media management to website oversight and email campaigns. Despite my extensive workload, the pay isn't reflective of my efforts, and I'm eager to find a better opportunity. I hold a Bachelor's degree but didn't pursue a Master's due to the need to start working quickly, and now at 32, I'm hesitant to take time off for further education. I've been applying to various marketing roles, including marketing assistant, marketing specialist, junior marketing manager, and marketing coordinator, focusing on junior to mid-level positions given my nearly four years of experience. Despite tailoring my CV for each application, I'm not seeing results, and it's becoming increasingly disheartening. I've received feedback suggesting my CV might be too lengthy and that I should aim for a one or two-page format. Additionally, there were some typos and formatting issues pointed out that I need to address. I'm open to any constructive criticism or advice on how to improve my CV and job search strategy. Thank you in advance for any help!
