I recently defended my PhD three weeks ago and am now diving into the job search. It's been a challenging process, especially with applications that can take hours or even days to complete, particularly when drafting research proposals. To stay motivated and accountable, I'm looking to join or create a group of fellow job seekers. I believe that having someone to work alongside, or 'body doubling,' could really help ease the loneliness of this journey. I've seen some groups in the past, but they seem inactive now.
